This works great for chopping onions, but you have to cut into quarters first and it makes a lot of noise. Cleaning can be tricky. Takes longer than cutting with a knife but no tears!

Works well it is very sharp so be careful. But that means it chops veg well. My kitchen don't smell strongly of onions now chopping them in here then putting the thing in the was straight away.

Chops up stuff well, provided the stuff to be chopped is pre cut to a manageable size, about 3 x 3 cm. and of course, the stuff is choppable. Mushrooms, ok, raw potatoes a bit too firm.Feels reasonably solid, but use within its limitations.

Awkward to clean as doesn't come apart. Have to cut onion/veg into reasonably small chunks to start with otherwise it gets stuck.Does cut the onion very finely though

even with all parts taken apart, this is difficult to clean. Small bits of produce will get through the grate and are difficult to remove from the top. I might be missing a trick here

Can be a bit fiddly to put together, but when it works it works brilliant , just dont put too large of a piece of vegetable into start with.

This device works pretty well although I find you still have to chop an onion into 4 beforehand. It can't cope with chopping a whole onion. Haven't tried other vegetables yet.
