Not the cheapest of soldering irons but worth every penny.Heats up quickly to the required temperature, so you don't have to leave the iron resting hot, and thus oxidise the tip and the solder.Good selection of tips, easily changed. I like the inclusion of a knife for scoring sheet plastic preparatory to snapping it into smaller sheets.

I wish my soldering skills were better. However given my limited ability and skills it works as well as my previous soldering iron which failed after only 34 years use. If I am around in another 34 years I will revise this review to let you know if this replacement lasts longer.....I'll be 95 years young by then.

Really impressed so far.... Used it quite extensively soldering LEDs for Christmas. So much better than my old one. Comes with some useful accessories. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Might even buy another one and store away.

I've never been great at soldering, but this was nice to use and I soldered a fairly complicated PCB quite easily. Very easy to adjust the temperature, when using good solder, this seems like a good iron.

I bought this soldering iron as tried to replace an electronic controller on my ebike but my old soldering iron would not heat up enough to melt a huge soldering joint but this did the job in two minsHas good digital temperature control I well recommend this and was a very good price
