I have used it once and I must say I am impressed. The good points, good long cable, plug to UK standard, heats up quick. Also, the temperature is well regulated, I tested the temperature with a probe and 350 degree setting sits at 356 degrees, 400 at 416. The iron is light to hold and the tip takes solder well. The tip stays clean. I use the iron on 400 degrees to remove through-hole components from a double sided board, it works very well. It takes forever with hot air. Downside, no earth wire, hence metal is not earthed. Not a major problem as who will grab the hot metal with the iron on. Time will tell with long term reliability.

This is a good little starter kit if you are just beginning to solder, or for basic soldering jobs. It comes with everything you need - different tips, soldering paste and wire and a stand to rest it on. Also comes with a manual, so gives you instructions on how to use and what to do. The iron itself is good quality and the soldering part feels sturdy to use. It heats up quickly and there is an indicator on the handle showing you when it's switched on. The temperature can be moved up or down by the dial on the handle. It has its pros and cons, the cable could be a bit longer and it's a bit plasticky on the handle, but for the price it's a good starter kit.

This Soldering Iron Kit comes with everything necessary to do some soldering job at home. Working perfect and is easy to use. Get hot well and fast but you can adjust the temperature really easy. The soldering iron gun is comfortable to use the cable is a bit annoying when you are working on something. The handle does not slip and is made in silicone your hands will no burn when you use it. But you have to be careful when you place it on the stand because they go out very easy.Comes with: 5 interchangeable soldering iron tips, that they are easy to change, 1 Solder wire, 1 Soldering paste,1 Soldering iron stand with a sponge to clean the gun and 1 wrench, plus the instructions, but they didn't come with a bag for storage, at the moment I am using the cardboard box in which it came.Is working and the price is affordable the quality is no the best but for the price is fine and comes with all the tools.

This is a great starting soldering kit with all the essentials you need to get started with hobbies electronics and hopefully it will last you for many projects to come.- Good value kit- Changeable tips is nice- Heats up quickly- Controls are nice to have but could be better- Nice solder includedSo I do some small electrical projects which means I need a decent soldering set and I do have a more expensive kit with a lot more components. But when I saw this was available and that the iron had a temperature control I was excited to try it out.So this set comes with a few parts and I was a bit surprised which items I liked and which ones I was disappointed with. Starting with the iron, I had high hopes manly over the controls, first of the LED indicator is a nice touch but the fact that it is red and almost the same colour as the body of the iron means that in a bright room (which I hope the space you are soldering is) then it is very dim. The temperature control is very small and the text is quite hard to read, it would have been nice if the light changed colour when it got to temperature too.The iron works perfectly fine and I actually found the temperature control quite neat, the solder included is a standard 60-40 split which means it will melt at about 180 degrees Celsius so at 200 which is the lowest heat setting it can still melt the solder, but it just happens slightly slower and that can give you a little more control for example when removing components or melting solder to fix a mistake. I think for most uses I would recommend sitting in the middle and if you feel like you need a bit more or less you can adjust, but I think you would spend most of your time at 300 degrees. The power cable included with the iron is a bit small for my liking and I would recommend not running it very far at all, unfortunately the stands is also small and not the most stable and these two things in combination did concern me a few times when I placed the iron on the stand. The solder is actually pretty good for a set like this, it is a standard mix but resulted in nice joints and I’m pretty happy with it.Pros :- Good value kit- Changeable tips is nice- Heats up quickly- Controls are nice- Nice solder includedCons :- Controls could be better- Stand isn’t great- Cable is a bit short

This soldering iron is ia very handy one,  it is packed with different sizes of the tips of the soldering iron including Flux soldertand as well as sponge. The soldering iron is made with plastic handle and very easy to get hold of.There is a switch that can be rotate to regulate the temperature ranging from 200⁰c to 450⁰c. When it is switched on, a red light will show up on the device it self which means that it is now connected and ready to use.So far so good it is really lovely and did a good job, I have been able to do some soldering with with it.

Very good soldering iron for small jobs, electronics, and small metal-based craft hobbies. It has a pen-style holder so is suitable for really close delicate work, and the handle is silicone - a good heat-resistant material. The kit comes with five different tips, flux, and is ready to go out of the box.
