These masks include a 10 pack of carbon filters. The masks pass the candle test , you can not blow a candle out when wearing the mask including the filter. I believe this suggests the mask provides good protection.

A shame that such items are necessary at all! That said they do fit an adult face well and come with a resealable bag to carry it in when not using.
