I have a real soldering and rework stationthis soldering iron performs better than my station iron dose. it heats up like lightning and stays hot. goes to sleep if not in use and wakes up quick. great for smalless smd. I risked it and I'm happy I did.

Excellent value for money. Sometimes the solder prefers to cling onto the tip of the iron, may be a magnetic effect? Not sure but all in all, nice little set.

Good range of heat control, took a bit of trial and error to fin the right setting but I keep knocking the dial while i'm working and change the setting. Supplied tips poor quality though; disintegrated in no time - but for the price fair enough. Decent replacements bought separately have fared better.

You have everything here for basic soldering at a reasonable price. It heats up quickly and the heat level is easy to control and the extra heads help to push the supplied solder around nicely. There is nothing to complain about if you just want to do a once in a while job, however for only a few pounds more from the same manufacturer you can get a better set with a storage case, a more solid stand and a plunger tool to remove unwanted solder. I know which I prefer.
